To prevent adhesions and fibrosis and to simplify reoperation, especially with sternotomy, Biom'Up has developed COVA™CARD a resorbable membrane that prevents adhesions connecting the heart to the surrounding tissue. COVA™CARD has excellent handling characteristics and is easily sized and cut to shape, and if required may be sutured in place.
