Biom'Up : Advanced Biomaterials

COVA™ MAX is a transparent type-I acellular collagen membrane that is used in maxillo-facial and dental surgery. It is resorbable and designed to assist in guided tissue and bone regeneration. COVA™ MAX can be sutured.

Indications in maxillo-facial surgery:

• Reconstruction of bone dehiscence
• The protection of alveolar bone fillings (guided bone regeneration, GBR)
• Guided tissue regeneration (GTR)
• Covering for bone sites after trepanation for sinus lifts, etc
• The regeneration of ridges in preparation for implants
• Covering for periodontal bone defect fillings
• Used in combination with a bone substitute e.g. Biom'Up's MATRI™ BONE
