The Board of Directors at Biom'Up is comprised of two of its founders and four representatives from the shareholders who provide the company's capital funds, including an entrepreneur experienced in the field of medical devices.
Sylvain Picot
Founder, Chairman and CEO
A Biochemical Engineer who graduated from the INSA Lyon, today Sylvain Picot is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Biom'Up S.A. Continuing his studies at the Lyon School of Management. and supported by his technical and entrepreneurial expertise, he is responsible for the company's management and strategy and supervises its operation.
Dr. Patricia Forest
Founder, Deputy CEO and Chief Scientific Officer
With a PhD in Biological and Medical Engineering from the Claude Bernard University - Lyon1 and a Biochemical Engineering graduate of the INSA Lyon, Patricia Forest researched her thesis under the guidance of Dr Christian Gagnieu. Today, she has responsibility for all Research & Development activities, Biom'Up's Technical Files and Regulatory Affairs.
Pascal Blanc-Brude

A chartered accountant and graduate of the Montpellier Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, Pascal Blanc-Brude has been the Investments manager at AQUASOURCA since 2004. After almost twelve years in the audit department at Mazars and at Deloitte, Pascal joined Aquasourca in 2004. He assists businesses in various sectors in several industrial fields, software, home building and distribution.
François-Régis Ory
L'Améliane
After studying at the Lyon faculty of Pharmacy, François-Régis Ory served as a house officer in the Civil Hospices, followed by a postgraduate certificate in biomaterials and then training at the Lyon IAE. After a career in the medical industry, he now runs Améliane, an investment company that specialises in this sector.
Paul-Louis Santy

Paul-Louis Santy has over 25 years experience in the field of capital investment, including 19 years as the founder and Managing Director of Sudinnova, a venture capital company launched with Sofinnova, then as the manager of Siparex group's Capital Risk business. Paul-Louis has invested in healthcare, notably in Medtech, with Seporga, Genset, Biomatech, Coletica and Bioetica, and in the fields of I.T. and electronics at Apsis, Agde and Cegid. He is also an administrator at SuperSonic Imagine. He started his career in the Veolia group after obtaining a Masters in Economy and a diploma from IEP (Political Sciences) in Paris.
Cécile Thébault
Sofimac Partners
With a diploma from the Graduate School of Commerce, Cécile has been working for 25 years as a Capital Risk and Development Investor/LBO in SMEs. Since 1999, she has been responsible for the technological funds investment department managed by Sofimac Partners and for a Biosciences portfolio, with a position on different Boards of Directors of technological companies (Laboratoires Cyclopharma, Immun'ID, Biom'Up, Opi, Metex, etc.) Recently, she assisted several Biotechnology companies from the initiation stage through to commercialisation or Stock Exchange listing (Genolife, OPI, Metex).
